Lead Information Designer Full-time remote / Based in European or Eastern time zone
A standout opportunity for an information designer with modern flair to lead the creative visual outputs across infogr8’s purpose-driven projects.
Our mission is to unlock the value of data for genuine social impact. You’ll be collaborating remotely with some of the world’s brightest data visualisation experts, and working on exciting visual experiences for the likes of Mastercard Foundation, Harvard University and Urban Ocean Lab.
You’ll demonstrate excellence in information design, with a keen focus on UI design that strikes a balance between the art of possibility and meeting standards for optimal user experience. You’ll also foster the creative culture at infogr8 and reflect it across our digital services line (and growing awards tally).
You’re someone who can bring visual stories to life with quality. You see the big picture, without being afraid to get into the weeds to make sense of granular datasets. You’ll relish collaborating with data strategists, journalists and engineers across a given project. You enjoy communicating your passion for design and have a considered approach for each intended audience. As a data visualisation evangelist, you’re hungry to be acknowledged within the space and want to win things as part of the design team, whether that’s pitches or awards.
infogr8 are now at an exciting growth stage. You’ll be hungry to continue this momentum across our creative design capabilities. In return, you’ll benefit from our sustainable work-life approach – choose where you want to work, and have client-free Fridays to focus 20% of your energy on experimenting with new themes, tools and devices, or applying new design thinking to bring even more purpose to what we do everyday.
