Approaching design as a bridge between data complexity and user clarity means consistently taking a step back — reframing the content from the outside in. It’s a practice rooted in both understanding complexity and challenging its necessity: how much of it is truly relevant to the user? And how can we translate that into added value?

We’re thrilled to announce that Camilla De Amicis has joined infogr8 as our full time Visual & Information Designer!

Camilla is an Italian visual & information designer driven by curiosity and experimentation. She brings a strong narrative mindset to her work, exploring how stories can emerge from data across a range of media — from digital platforms to artistic formats. Her focus lies in transforming information into meaningful visual stories that speak directly to people.

In her design process, every phase — from research to content structure — is guided by a thoughtful mix of analysis and empathy. Today, designing a digital product means making it accessible, intuitive, and engaging. One example is infogr8’s recent redesign for Cyberseek, where each section was reimagined to empower users in freely and fluidly navigating data on their own terms.

A curiosity from Camilla’s process:
“One of my favourite phases is the early visual research stage. I love drawing inspiration from diverse contexts — sometimes the world around us holds surprisingly powerful insights. Designing with empathy means listening, understanding, and often asking more questions than answers. Dialogue with clients plays a key role in shaping meaningful design research.”

Throughout her experience — from research-driven projects to collaborative workshops — Camilla has maintained a clear focus: designing creative visual solutions through a rigorous and transparent process. This mindset remains at the heart of her work, always striving to deliver visual clarity and meaningful communication.
