This role is for a determined, experienced Sales executive with marketing/comms experience. This role is suited to an ambitious, refined and talented sales professional and offers the right person an opportunity to join a dynamic agency with an excellent OTE package to match. This individual will need to be self-motivated, relishing in a solo role but working well with a team of talented individuals.

Responsibilities (in order of current priority)

  • Reporting to the Managing Director,  execute in-line with the business development strategy.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and services and successfully communicate these to the market place
  • Develop new business leads across prospective clients for our products and services over the phone and face to face
  • Development of web / walk in opportunities
  • Development of intermediary opportunities
  • Development of RFI / Tender opportunities
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and report delivery to track prospects from cold, warm to hot leads
  • Development of new business pitch opportunities
  • Consider innovative & appropriate new methods of gaining attention from prospects
  • Keep up-to-date with industry knowledge & report to team as relevant e.g. competitor analysis
  • Nurture relationships with prospects
  • Identify and capitalise on trends, events, topical / seasonal lead activities
  • Develop and maintain excellent up to date knowledge of the PR, marketing and communications marketplace.
  • Contribute to the internal vision and goals of the business by participating in projects that benefit the company.
  • Any ad hoc duties as required by the company.


Key Skills

  • Proven experience of working in a B2B environment (ideally digital media)
  • Proven experience of winning and closing new clients
  • Strong track record of performance in previous sales roles
  • Be a great networker/have a strong network.
  • Hungry and ambitious self-starter able to take the ball and run with it on any given project
  • Convincing speaker & negotiator with experience in speaking with Senior members / with authority
  • An inspiration to your colleagues, you’ll have passion and a commitment to getting things done.
  • Excellent communication & writing skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent word, excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Being likeable / easy to work with internally
  • Excellent organisation of own time and workload.

  • Team-player: flexible and challenging with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
